Description
Lobstah Buoys, or lobster buoys, are used by fishermen to mark the location of their traps so they can identify which traps are theirs out on the ocean. Each fisherman uses distinct colors and patterns on their markers so that they are easily identifiable as their trap. When you are out on the ocean and there maybe dozens or tens of dozens of traps, you need to be able to identify your traps, and this is how they do it! These particular buoys were attached to a small fishing shack in Rockport, Massachusetts. This would make a great print for the home, camp or office!
