A bitterly cold day last January found me out in Breitbeck Park along the shores of Lake Ontario in Upstate NY. These trees just really caught my eye and I knew I wanted to capture them and thought a high key image was the way to go. High key images are a low contrast, slightly over exposed type of photography and I was trying to use this to give the view the sense of bitter cold that I was feeling at the moment. I really do take pleasure in being out in Nature when most everyone else is sheltering inside!
