Description
Sunken Rock Lighthouse dates back to the 1800's and was erected specifically to warn boaters of the giant rock it sits upon. There are actually over 1,000 islands in the Thousand Islands Region of the St Lawrence River/Seaway and is a major navigational route from the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes of Ontario, Erie, Huron, Michigan and Superior.
