Description
This is a recent sunset taken at an area known to the locals as The Loop and by the college crowd as The Stands. It gets its name "The Loop" from yesteryear when trolleys were a favored mode of transportation and out this way, somewhere near here, the tracks made a loop to head back into the city. At least that is the story I have been told. But it is a wonderful place in the summer to get a bite to eat and watch some world class sunsets. As you can see by this image, the Oswego area has beautiful sunsets, no matter what time of the year!
