I was originally heading into Selkirk State Park in Upstate NY to photograph a winter sunset when this scene presented itself to me. I just love how the side light was filtering thru the trees and perfectly illuminating the pine trees along the road. I immediately pulled over, grabbed my camera and started shooting. This has proved to be a very popular image!

Specializing in the scenic beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes of New York State as well as the Central New York area, where I am from! When travelling, I will generally have my camera with me so that I can capture images from across the country with scenes such as cityscapes from Baton Rouge or Cleveland along the waterfront, to the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest!
