Hiking thru Beaver Lake Nature Center led me to this gorgeous path through some very tall pines covered with wind blown snow. There was just a bit of side light penetrating into the trees to illuminate some of the trees and the trail in places. Winter is definitely one of my favorite seasons here in the Northeast! Which is convenient, since I live in the snowbelt of Upstate NY where we average around 130" of snow per year!

Specializing in the scenic beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes of New York State as well as the Central New York area, where I am from! Wonderful scene with the long perspective of the road flanked by the tall trees! I've scene movie when I was very young (it was about native Americans), that ended with a scenery almost like this :)
