Artist's Description

This the Stone Bridge going over a small tributary that leads to Hiawatha Lake in Onondaga Park in the City of Syracuse, NY. This was during the blue hour while I was there to photograph some Christmas lights and decorations on the lake. I just really like the detail in the stone work on this bridge which is a foot bridge for pedestrians to cross the little creek. The park itself was placed on the National Historic Places register in 2002.

When travelling, I will generally have my camera with me so that I can capture images from across the country with scenes such as cityscapes from Baton Rouge or Cleveland along the waterfront, to the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest! My photography is about showcasing the grandeur of the scene and quite often the subtle interplay of light and shadow, texture, and color. Whether it's the serene calm of a misty river...
