This morning was rather chilly, so when the first light of sunrise started hitting the water and warming the surface, a mist began to rise off the water creating 'River Smoke". Honestly sunrise is my favorite time of the day and this is one of the reasons why. It is just so quiet, peaceful and beautiful!
Welcome to my gallery!! I am an Upstate NY based photographer who tries to capture the essence of landscapes, nature, and cityscapes with an eye for detail. Specializing in the scenic beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes of New York State as well as the Central New York area, where I am from! When travelling, I will generally have my camera with me so that I can capture images from across the country with scenes such as cityscapes from Baton Rouge or Cleveland along the waterfront, to the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest!
