The crescent moon is rising just before sunrise over Oneida Lake this July. There was a slight mist rising off the water in the distant while the oranges and blues of morning reflected off the water. I chose to do a composite image because using a wide angle lens made the moon look so much smaller than it did to my eye. I grabbed a separated shot of the moon that morning and sized it according to how I perceived it standing there on the shore of Oneida Lake. I hope you enjoy!
