On the rocks is an up close and intimate look at Delphi Falls in Madison County, in Upstate NY. I love how the water seeks its own path over, around and down the rock face. This park and this waterfall used to be private land, but in 2018 a retired Syracuse University professor contributed the lion's share of the funds to purchase this property. Along with some funds provided for by Madison County, this beautiful 60 acres became a publicly accessible Madison County Park! The lower falls are about 62 feet in height and there is an upper part of the falls that is around 54 feet tall, but is not yet open to the public. The water that flows over the falls is part of LImestone Creek. This really is a beautiful piece of property, well worth a visit!

Specializing in the scenic beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes of New York State as well as the Central New York area, where I am from! When travelling, I will generally have my camera with me so that I can capture images from across the country with scenes such as cityscapes from Baton Rouge or Cleveland along the waterfront, to the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest!
