Description
Curtains of vibrant pink and green aurora borealis stretch across the night sky, complemented by a blanket of twinkling stars. A solitary tree stands in the foreground, silhouetted against the colorful backdrop, while a quiet pier and calm waters rest under the cosmic display.
This was the largest Solar Storm in the last twenty years and the Northern Lights could be seen in almost the entire country over the past three days. This was day three of the storm, not quite as intense as the first two, but this was the first real shot we got at seeing them in my area, since the previous two nights had been mostly blocked by clouds. I watched these lights for about 3 hours, and this was by far, the most intense display of the evening, only lasting just a few minutes! The would look great printed on metal!
