Artist's Description

Highland cows, known for their shaggy coats and long horns, are a hardy breed originating from the Scottish Highlands. I ran across this beauty just hanging out in the shade of his pasture munching on some greens in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate NY this past fall! They are a unique and beautiful looking animal and would make a great addition to anyone that loves farms and farm animals. I can easily see this as a wonderful print on canvas for the more rustic interior decorator or maybe you raise Highland Cows and would love a nice print of one hanging in your home or office!

About Rod Best

Rod Best

Specializing in the scenic beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes of New York State as well as the Central New York area, where I am from! When travelling, I will generally have my camera with me so that I can capture images from across the country with scenes such as cityscapes from Baton Rouge or Cleveland along the waterfront, to the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest! My photography is about showcasing the grandeur of the scene and quite often the subtle interplay of light and shadow, texture, and color. Whether it's the serene calm of a misty river...
