Description
My hope with this image of Chittenango Falls was to capture the detail of the falls and the beauty at the same time. Chittenango Falls in one of the most photogenic waterfalls in Central NY, cascading 167 feet over multiple tiers to a rocky bottom where Chittenango Creek continues downward towards the Village of Chittenango. The falls are located within Chittenango Falls State Park, part of the NYS Parks system and are easily accessible to the general public, though climbing out the gorge does take a little effort.
