This was a fantastically beautiful sunset over the Port of Oswego on Lake Ontario. In the middle ground sits a tugboat from World War II, a LT-5 tug named the Nash. This tug sits outside the H Lee White Marine museum in Oswego, NY and has the distinct honor as being one of, if not the only tugboat, to have shot down a German Luftwaffe fighter. On this particular night the colors of the sky were just alive and fantastic!
Welcome to my gallery!! I am an Upstate NY based photographer who tries to capture the essence of landscapes, nature, and cityscapes with an eye for detail. Specializing in the scenic beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, Finger Lakes of New York State as well as the Central New York area, where I am from! When travelling, I will generally have my camera with me so that I can capture images from across the country with scenes such as cityscapes from Baton Rouge or Cleveland along the waterfront, to the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest! My photography is about showcasing the grandeur of the scene and quite often the subtle interplay of light and shadow, texture, and color. Whether it's the serene calm of a misty river...
